Please tell me I'm not fat.

Ok every time I put somethingin my mouth I go nuts over how I'm going to get fat if not I all ready am. I'm 17 and I'm 5'2'' and I weigh 128 right now, but I usually weigh 123. Am I fat??????
I've been eating a little more than I used to because I'm very nervous right now. I'm having a lot of back problems and arm problems that're affecting my saxophone playing and I've been just so emotional lately I've cried all weekend. Somebody please tell me I'm not fat. Please.

Perfectly fine, your body weight towards your height is perfectly healthy. Try not to worry about your weight too much, try and focus your concerns on something else and if that doesn't work and you are to a point where your throwing meals up deliberatly, seeing a psychatrist would be a good idea.

I'm just a negative person sometimes. I used to be really anorexic. I got down to about 75-85 pounds in middle school and in highschool I had to stop because I was in marching band and I needed more energy to get out in the sun, march, play my instrument, etc. Thanks for your help

Yeah it still is difficult but I'm eating every day now and I fight it day by day.

I can't exactly tell you if you are fat or not because that is up to your doctor, but don't compare yourselves to sticks in magazines, know that you are beautiful even if you are not a stick.

it seems like you are just trying to get attenion wow big deal you put on 5 pounds you know damn well you arent fat .. you arent 20 pounds .. get over yourself

Hun, you're not fat. And it's not healthy to obsess about your weight. It will turn into an eating disorder which isnot fun at all. If it isreally concerning you,go to your doctor and ask him what he thinks. If you want to make sure you won't gain weight, then try eating really healthy things and workout on a regular basis. You will feel goodand look great by doing that. Please try not too worry about it though. You are not fat.

And SHAME on those who are mocking you. This is a support forum, not a place to bash people. You have come to the wrong place if you feel the need to bash others. These forum's do not seem to be moderated very well.

you are not fat! But for any of your friends who is and are concious of it, tell them that it doesn't matter! No one is judging them (unless you hit the 400 pound mark).
