Hereing voices

I keep hereing voices. Its like screams in my sole. I know they aren't real but its driving me crazy.

Maybe you need a med change, especially as your maxing on Geodon.

Also you must understand the voices are your thoughts and of your creation, so don't ever listen to them if they are taunting you, it's just you feeling angry at yourself and it may be very distracting hearing these voices which are shouting your thoughts out to the world.

You should experiment with coping methods (which don't involve hurting yourself) like say for example meditating or having a relaxing bath or something - it really depends on who you are and what relaxes you and gives you peice in the world. Just don't touch booze or illegal drugs.

Meditationworks very well for me (I have emotonal highs quite frequently in depression.)

I might need more seroquel. I'm only taking 100mg of it right now. One guy at programs it taking 400mg a day. He's so zoned out he can hardly function. I don't want to end up like him.

Its deafing sometimes. I hate it. I just wished it would stop. I took my seroquel early so maybe it will help.

What do they normally say and how loud do they speak?

When you hear something in your head, like you might hear music IN your head, it doesn't seem like its coming out of anywhere.

Someone with schiz might think say the government put speakers in their TV and the TV is the source of the vioces, or that the voices aer coming from a family members mouth, which is why you might get delusional.

I took my meds early and I'm ok now.

I know its confusing. Its confusing to me too. Its not like hereing music in my head like a favorite tune. Its voices talking to me and I can here them.

Anyway I don't hear voices that often. Most the time I hear and see things at the sametime.

How often is it that you hallucinate? Other than doubling your drugs do you do anything else to cope with it?

Josh have you tried writing poetry? Or drawing? .

I was thinking of becoming an artist because it might be advantage being schizo in that field. I'm not sure but i have been trying to learn to draw. I'm not very good at it so it doesn't look to promiceing.

Generally all I do is take more meds like doubling seroquel and geodon or getting extra geodon shots.

About the artist thing, you have to learn to draw before you can get your own style.

What i would do is just start scribbling cartoons when your bored, it doesnt matter how bad they look, the more you do it the better it gets.

I have some how to draw books. How to draw people and animals. I have an airbrush but I need a compressor for it and paints.

Do you think writing is more your thing?

Or playing an instrument, i think playing guitar is really cool, you can develop your own style like world class professional guitarist, you can make whatever kinda music is your style.

I've never really wrote much before.

Why not have a go in Word or another word processer programme. If you think it's good pop it up on creative writing forum.

Hey im back, was away for a day or so.

Anyway - Wouldn't you be able to tell if you wear hearing something that wasnt there by simply cupping your hands over your ears?

Sometimes when I go to bed I close my eyes and I can hear people talking inside my head. Sometimes they're the voices of people I know; sometimes they're voices that just sound familiar. They just talk and say strange, random things. I can't really remember any right now. But sometimes one will come through very clear and it will sound like there is someone right next to me whispering it in my ear. I'll jump up and look around, but of course there's no one there. Do I have it???
