I just want to say thank you. This was one of the most informative posts that accurately portrays suicide and is helpful. I do appreciate the work you did and once again thanks. My friend is suicidal and while listening to them I can't do anything but watch them slowly destroy themselves as I'm thousands of miles away.

It's great that there are more people talking about suicide and depression. It makes it easier to spread the knowledge that these exist. Awareness is the first step for people to take action.

I think that someone who talks about his or her depression, and suicide tendency is someone who is looking for someone who will actually care. If people around them invalidate those feelings, or just shrug them off, then it might be too late before those people realize the truth.

Because depression is not something you can treat by just "thinking that everything will be alright."
