Got tested again, NO COVID

So I have been violently ill since Sunday. Crazy swings from severe chills to feeling very hot, but not actually having a dangerously high fever. Vomiting often and without warning. Severe stomach pains. What the fuck is going on?

Made it to the hospital today, they ran a bunch of tests. One was a COVID test, and they say it came back negative. Well I hope they are right.

Someone hold me. Or don't...you might get whatever ancient plague I have come down with.

well I have only thrown up three times today...that is an improvement.

False negatives are possible, but it’s very possible that it’s a flu of some kind. Lots of COVID symptoms are shared between strains of the flu, and even common colds and allergies. I hope you feel better soon, and figure out what’s wrong!

My best guess is it is some kind of food poisoning...? But I don't know, I've never had fever or anything like that from that before.
