well yesterday i was in the pool swimming laps for the first time in a while and when i got out and was in the shower my knee clicked and since then it constantly cracks and then won't stop throbbing. im thinking that its cause im growing so fast. last year i grew seven inches and didnt gain an ounce. i guess i just stretched.

do you guys think its growing pains or did i hurt myself? ive had pains in my achilles tendons, hands, feet, and shoulders before due to growing too quickly.

-They generally strike during two periods: in early childhood among 3- to 5-year-olds and, later, in 8- to 12-year-olds.

-Growing pains always concentrate in the muscles, rather than the joints. Most kids report pains in the front of their thighs, in the calves, or behind the knees. Whereas joints affected by more serious diseases are swollen, red, tender, or warm, the joints of kids experiencing growing pains appear normal.
