the short and long of this is that i had a friend who i got very close to and we were literally inseperable. in hindsight we were both very possessive of each other. then around two years ago she moved to america. for the first year we remained in contact although it was always me that initiated contact or sent the first email. she came back for a visit and went. then over the past year she would leave gaps of three monthes before replying and on my last birthday she rung up, was nice for a while, then turned really bitter and viscious. basically we have been on bad terms for the last five months and i gave up on ever hearing from her. she sent me an email on my birthday three days ago filled with 'i dont owe you anything' and rubbish like i find it easy to discard her. in actual fact i can't let go. i don't know whether to try and sort this or just let our friendship die. i can't bring myself to be, yet again the one that has to apologise this time but i love her. #

advice would be much appreciated :S.

Let her go... I can relate... I lived in Italy and decided to move to the US... since I've been here I've learned who my true friends are, those that wrote me since the beginning and continue to do so... it's been 7 months, and I already know who is in my side... its not up to you, it is up to her... it was her that left, not you...
You didn't do anything wrong, and if she decided she's not into you anymore, she's not worth your interest
