iPod helo please!

So I just got my ipod today, and I put my entire itunes library on there. Then later in the day, I get another song I want on there. So I plug it in and go to the library and uncheck everything but that one song, and then sync it. Now there is only that one song on there! Am I supposed to put everything on there like everytime? Im so confused!

Yea. Leave everysong you want on it checked. It won't go on more than once.

Yea dont uncheck the songs. iPod detects that they are already on the iPod and only adds the new songs. Just add your library again, and you should be fine ;)

Yeh everytime you stick ur ipod in, it only updates the music that is new.

I personally dont use the auto update thing, quite confusing and deleted all the songs on my mini once.
