Ok, heres the deal.

I have a very close friend who's the same age as me, and as a joke, I'm constantly asking him if he wants to 'hook-up', knowing that, as a straight guy, he wouldn't. But I asked him this morning, and he said 'You know what, f*** it, let's go for it.'

So three things:
-Does he mean it?
-Should I go for it?
-If I go for it, what are the chances I ruin our friendship?

Well, one there's always a chance it'll be ruined. Also does he know you're gay/bi? I'm not sure if he means it....but what the hell Go for it :)

You could take this in so many different directions it's not even funny. He could me what the heck, let's do it. He could be joking. He could be saying a ton of different things and you would not know exactlly what he means by what he said. I would just suggest going with your gut instinct. There is always the possibility that this could ruin a friendship but the final decision is up to you.

I think you should have a can of beer, kick back and ask him what he ment :) then you will know if he was joking or not :)

That only leads to two things. Number one, an awesome time or Number two, the biggest mistake of your life. Either way I wouldn't suggest the beer. Just sit down and talk it out. I forgot that the drinking age in Europe is lower than what it is here in the USA (21). Like I said, it is up to you man.

Well its impossible to know if he meant it, but sure, if thats what you want then you should go for it :) I dont think it will ruin your friendship but it could so be prepared for that :)

Just go out with him and talk, no sex, or sexual hintings, if you wanna know his true orientation, then go ahead, ask...if he doesn't know you are gay, tell him. Will it ruin it? depends on his beliefs.....but you'll never really know...
