Hey there. I was wondering if anyone here feels like they were born into the wrong body or identifies with the opposite gender. I am seriously starting to very strongly feel like I am a girl in a guys body. Not just because I have more girls for friend than guys, or because I enjoy dressing in drag or something. I have been intensely yearning to have a girls body. Not only sexually, but like living day to day as a woman... Can anyone relate? I need someone to talk to

hmm...i don't know the feeling personally, but there are many people that feel that way everyday. (I'm sure you know, and people will tell you) there is nothing wrong with that. YOU know who you are, and sometimes, biology and psychology decide to fight, and they decide to just, well, combine ideas...well, it can be confusing, but i've felt like that for about a year before i realized i'm male, that i'm a male who loves other males.

I can't relate that way, but I have a friend who's transgender. In my beliefs, no one is male and female beyond the physical aspect. Mental gender is a myth in my opinion. We just think, and are. Females don't have to have female minds, and males don't have to have male minds, even though that's what we have been raised to know. I don't say I'm female mentally, I'm just a person. But I'm quite content as a girl. What I'm trying to say, don't let the physical you hinder who you really are, just because men "have to" do this, and women "have to do" that. In that way, I support you, because it is a perfectly fine thing. I can't say normal, but you're not the only one and there's nothing wrong with it. Go about this how your heart tells you to. Whether it's just living as a girl or having a sex change. Do whatever it takes to make it feel like you are being true to yourself, as that is all that matters :)

I have felt that way before when I first started to feel sexual feelings for other guys and thought it was unnatural and that I must be a girl. Then I realised that I was a guy and that I was just a guy with feelings for other guys. I dont know if thats the same as you, but I am happy to help you if you want to talk :)

i never thought i was in the wrong i just wondered how it is to be a girl when i was younger though but then i realized i would like guys instead of girls so i stopped thinking about it like that lol

When I was younger, maybe 10-12, when I was home alone, I would put on my mom's makeup and feel happy, but then the whole "Boys don't do that" thing jumped into focus and I got really upset with myself..

I feel this way too at times. I feel that I dont want a penis and I need a vagina, ect. Your feelings are normal and there are a bunch of other people who feel the same way as you. So you are not alone.

I feel the same way and i am in the process of telling my parents, but i have hidden it all my life until i really got into the research and stuff in 09-10 and now i tell more and more people everyday/week/month
