So I'm currently experiencing something very strange. I'm "seeing stars" out of the corners of my eyes. And I don't know why. It's getting slightly better, but I think it's giving way to a headache and dizziness. I was kicked in the head earlier during swim practice, but I don't think it was that hard...Does anyone have any idea what could cause this or what I could do to make it stop, please? It's really hard to see...

Swim practice; how long, how many yards(avg pool is 25yrd 1 way) approx, did you have anything to drink, and did you sit out after you've been hit in the head?

Do you have a raised lump?

Have you had enough to drink today?

Any other symptoms(Confusion, eyes not reacting to light properly)

We usually do 4 to 5 miles in a practice. I had a little bit of water while I was swimming. And some tea before and after practice. I didn't sit out, but there isn't a raised lump. Other symptoms...I'm really disoriented and more clumsy than usual.

Was that water drunk or inhaled :P

I think you're probably both dehydrated with a concussion. If it gets any worse, go to the emergency room.

And, do I really need to emphasize this?, [I]drink something.

Next time you get smacked in the head, get out of the water for a few minutes. It sucks (former swimmer), but it'll help that recovery thing.

I would suggest going to the doctors asap. Due to the simple fact that you are disoriented and have blurry vision. These are both signs of a confussion and also nureological disorders. You need ot see a doctor. have you told your parents?
You need to tell them now!! While swiming in the water if you get hit it does not seem that bad because the water reduces the impact of the force but the blow is still dilivered with the same amount of force. I would seriously suggest going to the doctors.

I would go to the doctor as noted above but this has happend to me before. And I never got kicked. It was dehydration for me, and it led to starry vision out of just the corner of one eye. That went away and on came the worst headache of my life.
