So just to start, I'm a girl and I'm 13 years old. About three or four weeks ago, I was hanging out with my boyfriend and we somehow came upon the subject of sex. My parents were out of the house and we decided to take advantage of it. We went up to my room and had sex. Then we decided to have full on sex. There was just one problem. He didn't have a condom on and i think he ejaculated in me. I was supposed to have my period a last weekend (almost 7 days ago) but nothing happened. Am I getting pregnant? What should I do? Who should I tell?

Well, first, i think you should get a pregnancy test. However, i also think you should tell you mother. I'm not sure, but in most relationships, the mother is more understanding. I'm a guy, so i don't konw much about pregnancy, you know first hand that is..., but it is going to be an emotional battle. You are going to go through alot. And so will he. Like i said, please tell your mother. So then at least you can get it confirmed by a doctor, and take care of the child the right way so it is not born with too many defects.

Sounds like you might have popped a bun in the oven. What can quite easily when you don't utilise any form of contraception.

I wouldn't necessarily advise you to go and tell your parents straight away; go and see your doctor first for a pregnancy test so that you know where you stand. You will then have various options from there if you are / are not pregnant.

You should take a pregancy test. Just go down to the chemist and buy one. If it says you're pregnant you have to tell whichever parent you trust will understand you.
Periods can be delayed because of stress, so try not to worry too much between now and when you take a pregnancy test.
You should have used protection, this is the reason there's an age of consent for sex. Because at a certain age you just aren't mature enough to think of using protection, no matter how exciting the moment.

Sorry about the anger thing at the end, but it just wasn't a great choice on your part O_o I hope all goes well, and I hope you arent pregnant :/

She is 13, how can she just go? without telling a parent WHY she wants to go to the doctor they are going to wonder. no normal child is like, HEY i wanna go to the doctor!?!?!!!

I have no idea how your system works.

In the UK, a GP would most likely end up telling the person's parents about what is going on if the person doesn't and they're under 16. Initially, though, any one of any age can approach their own GP without their parent if they phone up and make an appointment.

that i understand, but how would she get there? walk? i'm pretty sure that is NOT a good idea...she should just tell the parent that she trusts the most...and make sure the child(if there is one) is taken care well enough.

Well...you should’ve made him wear a condom...big problem. First of all, you need to relax. Ok, take a deep breath. If he did ejaculate in you then there is a great chance that you could be pregnant. So the only positive way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test. Since you have already had your first period you are a candidate to get pregnant. Take one of those pregnancy tests and see what it says. If it comes out positive then you have to let your parents know. First mom ( it will be easier). Also you have to let your boyfriend know too. Then the puzzle pieces will fall into place after that.

Tell your mother, even though it will be difficult, and get a pregnancy test ASAP :)
