Who else has it? Mine is pretty bad, which makes me anti-social... What did you other stutterers do?

I don't stutter much, only when I get really excited though. There's this boy that stutters a lot in my school, but he's completely normal otherwise. He has a lot of friends and stuff and he talks a lot.

Mines been getting steadily worse for the last few months or so, but its never been as bad lately as what i was when i was younger, i had to have speech therapy because it prevented me from saying certain words properly, mainly ch words. But eh, it does make me kind of anti-social because i have a paranoia with people laughing at it behind my back or something.

I used to stutter. It made me extremely paranoid. I had loads of friends, but eventually it isolated me. Even though I still called people my friends it didn't feel like it because I was so awkward around them. I could feel people getting sick of my stuttering, so one day I just decided I'd stop talking. I felt so self-concious. People commented that I had gone all quite and this started to upset me after a while. So I ended up a quiet, isolated emotional wreck.
Then, a few months later I decided I would do something about it because I was so sick of people telling me I was quiet.
If you want advice then I can try give you some things that worked on me.
Try realise that people arent judging your voice when you talk, talk slowly and just force get the words out and don't stop. Just keep the flow.
Sing whenever you can. It doesn't matter what.
Read stuff out loud to yourself, like a poem or paragraph. Talk slowly and become confident and comfortable with what you're saying. Just try get the words out in a steady flow.
If you start stuttering pause and take a breath, relax, and think about what you were talking about. Don't panic because you think people are getting impatient. Just take your time.
This all worked for me, you just have to get used to getting things out and relaxing.
