Ok I'm sorry but I had to get this out, why do all these people call themselves experts on Marijuana when they themselves havn't even tried it. That would be like me saying I am an expert at running a country, when I have no right doing that. Sorry again. Discuss

You can take others experiences of marijuana and compile an insightful opinion without personal experience. I believe that as an onlooker it is easier to spot addiction and changes in behaviour. In which case the experts are not necessarily those who use it

Or you could just smoke a joint. Also, marijuana isn't addictive.

My mention of addiction was referring to drugs in general.

I have seen in a friends brother how his frequent use of marijuana brought on sever schizoprenia. It is still dangerous, no matter what people say.

If you're stoned 24/7 then you have a problem, but if you use it once a month or so then you're fine, it really isn't dangerous unless you're stoned all the time.

Because those who aren't part of something are on the outside of it. It gives them a unique view, as the outside of something usually gives you a larger perspective. That doesn't mean the outside view can't be flawed, but it doesn't make it wrong either. All observers must be considered equals. If an expert tells you it is harmful, and a friend tells you it's pleasing, niether is wrong, just two sides of the same coin. As part of existence, we are all uniquely qualified as experts on existence, and by extension, anything in existence. My views are not worth any less than yours. However, this is not to be taken as a post where opinion superceedes fact. However, you are fully entitled to see it as such. *wink*

But no credible experts say it's wrong, a government drug war with a massive budget says it is.

I said nothing about an expert saying it was wrong, but that's a nice try on cornering me, assuming it is meant as a direct reply. Numerous experts will tell you is is HARMFUL. Once again, HOW HARMFUL isn't the issue, merely the fact that one side would affirm that it has dangers, and another side would tell you that it has its pleasures. Nothing I have said is wrong, as I have only stated that both sides have their observations.

It is true that inhalation of any type of smoke is harmful, but if it is consumed in baked goods it has no long-term effects.

You don't neccessarily have to have done something to be an expert at it. Like, earthquake experts, they have studied and studied so they know the signs and wht goes on during one. So they are an expertr and they havent neccasarilly lived through one. So you dont have to have done marijuana to be and expert.

Trust me, you do. You can't know the effects until you do.
