Not sure if this goes into music but...

My snare drum on my advanced 5-piece has one broken strap. It was never a problem until yesterday. I was playing some Blink-182, and it still had the clean, crisp, sound of a snare drum, but it had the ring of one of the high toms that you mount on the bass :/

It's put a huge dent in my band's composing, rehearsing, and recording schedule! Help me with how to fix it please!

Wait, so it just snapped off? You're talking about the springy wiring at the bottom aren't you?

yeah. one of those came off, but it sounded fine til yesterday. Should I go at it with like a wire cutter or something and see how that goes?

Just take it to a music shop theyll fit a brand new one on. Shouldnt cost much either

found the problem... turns out half of the snare straps popped out of the holders at either end of the drum.
