I'm looking to get a new fps for my ps3 and I want KZ3 but hearing that crysis 2 is better,is making second guess myself and the reviews I watched and read.
I really want to play kz3 but I saw crysis 2 and looked amazing.
Which should I invest in and if you have both, which iis better?
Thanks

Killzone 3 is just as good as Killzone 2, people tend to differ on the story being brilliant or absolutely appauling. I've played and finished Killzone 3 and thought over all i'd give it an 8/10, it's worth buying. Cryses 2 i'm sceptical about. PS3 has apparantly got a bad version of the game compared to 360 (which was awarded the consoles nicest looking shooter) I've only played the multiplayer demo and thought it was a bit lacking, but that's only multiplayer, graphics seemed ok, but again that's only multiplayer.
I've noticed that since games are coming out so frequently this year that in stores they are quick on skimming the price and i've seen Killzone 3 selling at as cheap of £25.99 (roughly $40) rather than £40 ($60-ish.)

Thanks. If I had the money to buy both, which I don't lol, I would get them. And to see what is a 60 dollar game $40, that's awesome. And kz3 looks soo action packed, but I also hear that it takes away the action by theatrical scenes interupting game play. I don't think I wouldnt mind that too much though. And I don't have a fps for my ps3 yet, I just got it a few months ago, and I'm looking for a good one. I already have black ops for the wii, please no console wars. Its the same as all the other versions. I may go with kz3 and if I don't like it I could always trade it in too.

I couldn't stop swearing on my self because I spent too many hours playing Crysis 2 demo. I didn't even buy the game and the gamers say that Crysis 1 was waaay better. They usually say Cevat Yerli is just being lazy since he has his pockets full of money.
Well in Crysis 2, you had no recoil ( and my hands are used to playing with recoil ) and there were stealth-pistol guys running all around, weapon sounds were awful, though the graphics weren't so bad, they were satisfying. Especially the water effects.
Anyway I don't wish to comment more since I haven't played the real version of the game.

Interupting action for movie sequences? Isn't that what every action game under the sun has to do if they wish to have cutscenes? :P I haven't noticed this but there is a black fade out between chapters, but that doesn't really take you away from the action. If this is your first FPS on PS3 then I deffinately recommend you scouring the bargain bins before you start buying the blockbusters, get Killzone 2 for about $7 looking in the right places, or Call of Duty 4. Resistance: fall of man, is another very good shooter on PS3.
The good thing about PS3 is you can buy pre-owned games knowing that there wont be any damage/scratches to the discs since they're Blu-rays.
