I was looking to start some kind of contraception, mainly to get rid of cramps, but I'm not very good at remembering things, so the pill wouldn't really work. Which of the other ones should I chose???? One of the girls in my class said she is using the implant, and she doesn't get them, so I was wondering whether it actually helps???
thanx :whoops:

Normally when I have cramps I put a hot ricebag on the area and it goes away...so I don't really know what medicines work... :/

Birth control pills have a lot of really bad side effects, I've heard. Some side effects that are worse than the things you're trying to prevent. I'm not sure if that relates to the implant, but I'd say just let things happen the way they're supposed to.

Honestly, you're fourteen years old. The pill is your best choice. They have LESS SIDE EFECTS then the shot and so on. It teaches you responsibility too because you have to learn to take them every day at the same time.
I've been on the pill for over a year now and the worst it's done was just make my depression worse (But only because I was suffering from it before hand, it's not the cause). I take a pill called Sronyx, it's in a red case, and if you go to Planned Parenthood it's probably what they will give you. It's the most common, safest one that is hormonal. I know people are constantly going on about "Pill Side Effects" but they most likely have never taken them. Side effects COULD include weight gain and what not but nothing too extreme. It can relieve mentrual cramps (I never have sever ones anymore *knocks on wood*) and it will make your period more regular. In the even that you ever decide to have sex in the future it will be a good thing to be on (While you also use condoms) to keep you from the paranoya of pregnancy.

I have to take concerta for my ADHD and trust me I am so forgetful to take it but, you can get pill boxes that have M T W T F S S on them, and just pop your pill in that and put the pill box where you will see it (such as your bed-side table) and just take it with a glass of water whenever you are ment to. I dont really know much 'bout this shit.
