Yes this is a bit odd but there's this one hot boy I know and his mom is italian, and usually the mom has the final say in circumcision.. So anyone else here with mostly italian ancestors that can provide info? His dad is also mostly of German descent so.. I'll put up a question for that too.
Ya don't just walk up to a random hot kid that doesn't like you and ask "Hey are you circumcised?"...
It's always been on my mind when I think of him. I'm bi and I like other boys too but it's never interested me as much for some reason.

The Italians are definitely pro-circumcision. My lovely Polish mother saved me, but all of my other relatives who are strictly Italian are all circumcised. The Roman Catholic church endorses it, says it's cleaner.

Roman Catholic? Because in my West Virginia town dominated by Italians it was traditional to be cut. You have a preference I'm assuming?

Do you guys think it matters more on the personality of the parents or more how their ancestors did it? I just realized it's probably more personality because super-widespread circumcision hasn't been around long. Like maybe parents that are hippies or just don't give 2 fucks about their kids don't get them cut, but people that are misinformed(like 99% of americans are) and think it's good for them DO get them cut. IDK I WANT TO KNOW IF HE'S CUT HOLY SHIT :(

My friends are from italy and ive asked them about it. no one in italy circumcises idiot. to see a cut european kid (excluding English and jewish)is pretty danm rare according to my other european friends.

If the dad is circumcised, the son is more likely to be cut I would think. You said the dad is of German descent, but if his parents were not right off the boat, he might have been cut since it was so routine in North America at that time. OTOH my dad is cut but neither me nor my brother had it done at birth since my mother was opposed (natural\hippie tendencies as someone said in this thread), so you really never know until you see it.

Yeah I was talking about hippie people. His mom doesn't come off as hippie to me, I've never actually seen either of his parents, he just talks about them allllllllll the fucking time, and his real dad is like 5 states away, there's only his stepdad. I don't know why he never talks about his 'birth father', maybe he was a dickhole or something. I'm beginning to think he was cut, his mom makes them move a lot, BUT she's rich so there has to be something about jobs that rich people have that make them move a lot there that I'm not getting.
God damn analyzing is fun :D

Actually the Catholic Church condemns it! We believe that unnecessary change to the body such as removing a functioning body part is diminishing God's work.
Even though heritage has to do with life choices location does also, here in the western us about 25% of people are cut in teens and children; but where as, in the north east and the eastern sea board the number is closer to about 60%. so pick you odds.

The "most american place" in Amercia would probably be Washington, DC..

Yeah, it's also In the bible that if a man rapes a virgin he must marry her.
In my opinion, religion should stay in churches, mosques, and synagogues.
But, on topic, I really don't think this topic is such a big deal.
I mean honestly? It's a bit of skin. Come on.

It's not just a bit of skin. There's thousands of nerves that are completely destroyed at birth for like 80% of kids in the US.
