Are armpit hair DEFINITELY pubic hairs?

Good question. I don't think their pubic hairs because I think pubic comes specifically from the pubic bone( correct me if I'm wrong ), which is right above your penis. But they do look sorta like the same.

They do come DURING puberty, but armpit hair is armpit hair.

Yeah, pubic hair is only the "down-there hair" and it's called that because it's around the pubis. It doesn't have to do with any other hair brought on by puberty.

I think it is pubic hair because it comes out during puberty. Just like chest hair.

i extremely agree. i used to think that it was called that because it came out during puberty

the term "Pubic" doesnt mean "during puberty" if thats what ur asking,
Armpit hairs are just....how can i put this......on their own, but they still come during puberty

Arm pit hair is androgenic hair, i.e. it only grows under the influence of testosterone and therefore appears during puberty when your testosterone level goes up. Pubic hair is androgenic hair too but armpit hair is not pubic hair because pubic refers to where it grows, on the pubis, not how or why it grows.

I must say there is no pubic bone. It's just a portion of the pelvis, which people call the pubic bone but it is really the same bone

Usually they do come in together... one may be before the others and i got a lil chest hair after the pits/pubes
