One of my closest friends, she's like my sister, but she pisses me off to no end. We went to the movie's today, and I had said that I needed to finish up on my english homework when I got home. She then started to call me a liar because I had apperantly told her yesterday that I finished all of it (which I never did, I asked her if it was easy, and I may have told her I hadn't done it yet) It's stupid, I know, but this is the same friend that told me she knew Justin Bieber last year (LIE), related to another famous actor (LIE) that my lipstick that I left at her house, was a lipstick her aunt had given her (LIE, It's lipstick, but it had some sentimental value to it) That a colored pen I got for my birthday from my other closest friend, was a pen that was "left behind" at her house by this old friend of hers..(wait for it..LIE... yeah, it's a stupid pen, but I got it for my birthday.... and I know it was mine because I had lended her the same exact pen, the same color, and those types of pens have different designs, and the type of design on mine was pretty rare) That two of my friends and I gave her a bad grade on a project because she did a lot of the project (you can probably guess that ot's a lie... right after I finished my part of the project, she had texted me at around 5pm on a Sunday night, asking if I could do a bit of HER part..the project was due the next day..I then had a breakdown, and had to call the pother two friends and the three of us did the part she didn't do) That's just some of her lies...

..anyways, it just makes me feel like crap when she calls me a liar (when I didn't do anything) when she doesn't have a right to judge me considering her history of lying. I'm probably just over reacting. She can be a good friend most of the time though. She isn't afraid to yell at someone if they're being an a - hole, and she stands up for her friends. She's the only one I know that could probably relate to my past with our parents...

Just wondering,. does anyone have a friend like this?

Personally no. But disregarding the last part of her own apparant history of theft and lies she may be feeling paranoid. Silly as it may sound, she seems to recall you telling her that you've done something already and then you saying you have to break an engagment to go and do that same activity will spark some sort of paranoia that you're using this as an excuse to get away from her. She may have been looking way too deep into things when the simplest solution was you actually haven't done it.

I do this all the time, but would never voice it, so that's what I think may have happened. Otherwise, she may have just of been in a bad mood...?

I have a sort-of-friend like that. She will lie about the dumbest things. Like one time she said she could dance ballet, she didn't even pronounce it right, then she raised her arms and skipped around like an idiot. xD Anyways, I suggest that you talk to her and tell her how you feel.
