Pubic Shaving?

So I am 14 years old, and i have never shaved anything in my pubic area. I have seen posts that people do shave their pubic area, but idk if i should do it? Whats your guys opinion on this?

u may or may not like it. i like mine shaved. all of my friends who shaved their pubes like it.... its a personal choice. btw, first time is the worst :)

you shouldn't really do it if you don't have a reason....
maybe try trimming it, see how it looks, and if you like trimming, consider shavin

You should try it (a couple times, the first is baaaaddd) and see if you like it! I've done it several times. I always shave it, then grow it, then think "why'd I do that? I'm shaving." I think I prefer it shaved. also, it looks bigger shaved. And people notice, if youre an exhibitionist when it comes to being naked :)

Dude, dont feel presured to do something that you dont want to do. Not everyone shaves down there. And if you dont want to shave, you can just trim. :-)

Hey dude ... Basically the first time you shave will be the worst it like losing your virginity if your a girl lol. Because when the hair grows back its a hella itchy. after it gets better becuz ur balls feel so smooth to touch.

The only STD that you can eliminate or reduce is crabs (pubic lice) because they live in the hair just like head lice. It comes down to how you want it to look and if you are sexually active the other person might like them shaved (prevents hair getting in the mouth during oral sex). I prefer to trim them but don't shave them off or they are itchy growing back.

Its just a personal choice you can try it if you want to. But like everyone else said it sucks the first time. i just keep it trimmed

In my opinion, a lot of hair on a man or a woman is gross. Some hair is sexy, as long as it's well kept. I shave mine all the way and it grows back like 4 or 5 days later. So, it depends on what you like.

I would try it, just to see if you like it. If you don't it always grows back.

I Prefer no hair because I Feel that its more cleaner. I tend to have alot of hair down there and I really don't mind it, but at the same time i don't like it. But if u really want to shave than give it a try.

Very bad idea. Shaving it is bad because when it grows back it hurts really really bad. just trim it.

I shaved as part of an initiation, didn't think I'd like it, after all I just finally got the pubes, but I did like the clean look and cool feel. I had to keep it shaved for about 2 months, and it did itch at first but after a few shaves it was fine. I did let it grow back and now keep it trimmed real short which is what I find I prefer. Almost all af the guys at school do trim, some shave, but like no one leaves it long.

You can do what ever you want. It will always grow back. Its a personal/preferance choice. I think you should try it if you really want to, if you dont like it, then you dont have to do it again if you dont wanna.

As everyone else has said, it's just hair, it'll grow back. You can just start off my trimming it? See how you like it. Then, if you want to go lower, just shave it all off. I prefer mine hairy. But, i've shaved mine several times (couldn't make up my mind as to whether or not i like it shaved or hairy).
