Virtual Mode touches on it, but not really for a coping method.

A couple of John Green's books use it, but it's not really essential to the story line.

As far as just self-harm, I have...

Willow, by... err... let me go get the book.

Julia Hoban. That's ALL about a girl's story of self-harm, her method of coping when she got in a car crash with her parents in the car and she survived, they didn't.

I also have Suicide Notes by Michael Thomas Ford, telling about a teenager's stay in a psychiatric ward after a suicide attempt by cutting.

Lol, if there's a fiction book about someone with psychiatric problems, I have it. I buy them right of the bat when I see them XD

EDIT: Jo beat me to Willow :P

Willow was great, a really sweet story, it was what I needed at the time. A story like that I could relate to, that ends on a happy, optimistic note. I read it when I was supposed to be working in school last year. :whoops:

I haven't actually read Suicide Notes. I have shelves of books I haven't read, just because I don't really have the time to read book after book in my schedule. It sounds like a good read though :P

EDIT: Lady Injury is out. I haven't read it yet, no, but definitely check into it because the gal who wrote it is brilliant. It's actual excerpts from her journal.
