Well, there's pills for hangover relief now at any local pharmacy or gas station. Take the recommended dose obviously. I wouldn't drive there obviously, sense driving while intoxicated is one of my biggest hatreds.
Orange juice helps. Don't drink soda though. Sleep is always an amazing way to solve anything. I've been told downing pickle juice really helps, even though it's not that delicious in my opinion. Don't take any tylenol or ibeprofin though. It will cause bad side effects with the alcohol. Oh, and tons of water.
I know once you get a couple drinks you might want more and then you end up getting shitfaced, but try to limit yourself if you don't want a hangover. If your plan is to get shitfaced, then take precautions and get some hangover relief and OJ so when you get home or when you wake up you can immediately start fighting the hangover.

↑ this is very true. The orange juice will replace vitamins in your body, helping you feel less like you've been dragged through a hedge backwards. Alcohol dehydrates your body, so water will also help. If you can stand it, perhaps some food would help? Not junk food, as this will hinder your body's recovery, but something quite plain and not particularly unhealthy.

Whenever I get a hangover junkfood is always the cure that I go for since the grease helps :P But I guess they effect people differently.
I also have a habit of when I come in at night of eating plain bread to soak up alcohol, it sort of helps too.

I had my first real hangover a week ago. My mother took me into KFC and I wanted to die from the smell of grease, I couldn't be within 10 metres of the small, never mind eat it!
Also, surely grease can't be good for a sick stomach?
Plain bread sounds good to me though, I remember being fed plain, brown toast when I was younger and sick.

Hmm, yea I suppose it really does depend on how you're feeling, if you were feeling nauseous or something then heavy food wouldn't go down well at all, regardless of how healthy what you were eating was. I don't really get hangovers when I drink for some reason but whenever I did my mum got Burger King and it completely got rid of the headache for me.

Wouldn't Gatorade make you feel sick because of all the salt in it?

STAY DRUNK!!!!!!!! or go for water, substantial ammounts of PLAIN FOOD unless like me as well grease is good! some people not so much but yes gatorade or powerade (however you spell them) are good for you because of the salt. you sweat out the salt and your body needs it... not only water but it needs the salt. now YES too much salt when hungover is a bad thing but you do want some... hense FOOD AND WATER!!! lotsa sleep maybe a couple hoots
