Unless you have a Dell XPS 410 or higher, don't get it...

My bro got it for $20 on black Friday and game it to me for Christmas.

First off my computer doesn't have a DVD reading drive so I can't load it....on top of that my computer is nowhere near fast enough for the game.

I installed it on my bros older gaming computer with faster speeds and DVD drive....took a little over an hour to install and when I did play it I had to run all the graphics at minimum and even at that it was slow as hell........

I'm just thinking of getting the Dell XPS 410 with better graphics card now just for games like this...

http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsdt_410?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19

It's a nice desktop but it needs a new graphics card my bro says and the price is really up there but I think I can save up for it and buy it some time in mid 2007
I need a better job at this point lol

just my thoughts on this game..

anyone else play it yet?
The reviews on it aren't all that good...

You do realize there are far better computers out there than Dell, right? Plus, it really doesn't matter the brand or model you buy for a stock computer, they're all relatively within the same class of performance.

Though my brother had gotten this game from a friend and installed it on his Acer laptop. Runs fine and looks good. My friend was playing it a few weeks ago in my kitchen (which was a big mistake to begin with) so my father thought he should teach him how to fly! My father was a load-master back in the day, so he thinks he knows absolutely everything about piloting anything. Anyway, my friend learned his lesson and realizes how much of an idiot my father is :P

Oh, right... The game, it was cool... We had gotten a decent joystick for a free flight simulator, but it wasn't much fun. With the joystick, however, Microsoft's Flight Simulator X was pretty nice.

You can only use 2 installs on the key beofer you have to buy a new one! I cant find a crack anywhere!

Anyway.. FS X is designed to be used on extreme computers for best graphics.. so on most computers it will have to be turned down fairly low.

maby if you call microsoft and say it didnt work twice on an install, they will give you a working key...

yea this game is designed for extremely fast gaming computers but its too fun...

You have to pay for a new key even if your computer goes wrong and you have to reinstall.. to be honest its not right, we pay like $100 for a game that can only be installed twice?

I've searched everywhere i can think of for a crack, a few people have asked but nobody has one :(
