So, I shaved my pubes yesterday because it was getting way out of hand, lol. But I have a rash now and it itches, is this normal?

Pubic hair is there for a reason. Your genitals have to stay warm. If it's cold, you're genitals pull closer to your body to stay warm. That's why you need pubic hair.
As long as you live somewhere hot or warm, then you can shave.
However, you can shave if you want to.

It's perfectly normal, you don't need to worry about it. It is just from the razor irritating your skin.

never shave ur pubes. It's terrible when they grow back. just trim.

Yes it is :-\... to prevent this in the future, trim first and then use a triple edged razor (or more) to ensure the closest cut. Also, use a moisturizing shaving cream and use lotion afterward.

I recommend just trimming the hair so that it's not too long and not too short.

Did you use a razor. If so, yes. It'll be itchy, and you probably have razor bumps. It's only 'cause the hairs growing back in.

Dude, for a while it will be irritated, but yeah, it's normal... I suggest trimming before shaving.

I agree with John Fitz it was awful growing back itched like you wouldn't believe that was 4years ago now I just leave them natural and occasionally trim-BigG No questions off limits

did it twice, i regret everything XD even if i shave around them, they still itch. when i trim them, it itches like hell, but baby powder or lotion does the work :D

Yes it is normal, and it is very annoying, so in future i suggest trimming your pubes and not shaving them to the very skin, this will mean that you will not get a rash, and the hairs will be less spikey.

if you regularly shave your pubes and want to avoid razor rash, try waxing instead
