Cool the blister by running cool water over the area for 5 minutes. If you have a cold compress available, place it on the blister. Treating the blister with ice can damage the skin more. Wrap a gauze bandage on the blister, and take ibuprofen.

It's best not to wrap it in anything. And if you can take atleast a little bit of pain ibuprofen isn't needed.

DO NOT POP THE BLISTER - The burn is already prone of infection, and the blister is apart of the healing process. Get a Doc to look at it if its quite large, if not keep it clean and covered with a non-stick dressing. Any signs of infection and go to the docs. Hope this helps :)

Agreed- Tyler. Do not wrap the blister in anything because it has a risk of popping. And of course like Josiah said, popping the blister can disturb the healing process- and it may leave a scar.

Yeah, it does need to be covered with a light non-stick dressing - to prevent infection :)
