hey guys, ive recently noticed that my little brother has been acting weird... hes 14 right now... so basically whenever hes around my friends he is very awkward and doesnt really talk... but there is one guy that he likes to talk to and he sometimes comes up behind him and hugs him and always tries to take him away from my group to talk to him... im wondering if this is because he might be gay? or if they are somehow secretly best buddies... any thoughts?

I honestly do not know really, how much of a difference is there between you and your brother? It might just be a friendship. You never really know.

Maybe he is just asking him some questions because he feels like he trusts him? Do you guys have a good relationship as brothers?

They could just be really good mates. And he could be really shy nowadays.

Well, it could be many things. How old are you? And how old is that guy? Anyway, it could be that he trusts him only. It could be that he is like bff with him. It could mean that he is bi/gay or just curious. And it doesnt matter if he is gay or not, it is his choice.
If you really want to know, you could just ask him.

If you have the right sort of brotherly connection with your brother, maybe you should sit down with him and subtly hint onto it; that way he will probably feel more inclined to come out to you if he is gay.
It's worth considering though, that he is 14 and hormones do rage at that kind of age. He could just be going through a phase of liking boys, or just your one friend in particular.
But yeah, I suggest sitting down with him and showing to him that even if he is gay, you don't care.
