I got a pretty thick beard like in order to be babyfaced I'd have to shave twice a day I don't but I have the fuision and the sihick hydro ( how ever u spell it) and a philips electric razor I let it grow for a few days then shave once a little scruffy looking but now my boss is getting on me to be clean shaven and my electic ravor just really trims it and my skin is takin a toll with all the shaving and the ingrown hairs suck anyone eles have or had this problem what kinda razor do u think is the best my grand pa says he wants to teach me how to use a stright razor but idk.

Well, since it is interfering with your job, I think it's time to buy a high quality shaver. $60-$100 gets you a really nice one that lasts you multiple years. I know that you have an electric razor, but those are no good compared to a shaver.

I'd agree with buying a more expensive razor. I'd buy an expensive electric and manual, for safety measures. Along with that, you might wanna consider waxing, it grows in slower and softer.

I do not have a thick beard, but I shave in the shower. It is all steamy in there and I can get my beard soft with warm shower. I have a fog proof mirror suchioned to the wall away from the shower head. Then I lather up and shave. I think a good blade is best and I change blades often. I know there are electric razors that you can use in the shower, but npt sure if they work well on thick beards.
There are plenty of web sites which provide information about shaving technique and there are a huge number of different products. Like I have heard shaving oil that might work for you, not sure. Try put different products, we will be shaving for a long time, so I think it is worth finding the best solution.

yeah sorry I do have a shaver just doesn't cut it like its crazy I go through the fusion razors hella fast idk...
