One of the best animes. Just saying. :)
The movies are pretty good too, but i prefer the anime.

I couldn't ever get into it. Don't bash me for saying, this, but I really just don't like it at all. Wasn't my type of anime I guess. It's the same with Naruto. I don't like that one at all either. Mainly the popular overly loved ones are the ones that bore me.

I think the movie wasn't as great as the anime. You should really try and find some episodes. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. :D

It's fine. :) Sometimes I'm the same way, but I got into Death Note by accident. And I've never seen Naruto so I can't say anything about that. :/
