I know what it's like to lose and also give up an animal.

They're in a better place though =)

I hate losing animals. It's almost harder than some family sometimes, because they are family. I had an insanely difficult time when I lost my guinea pig. I was so low, I fell into one of my depression phases for over a month straight. I can't even imagine losing my son, my kitty. Since I can't/don't want to have children, animals take their place. The only issue with that is odds are you'll outlive them, when normally kids will have to deal with their parents' death instead. You just have to be strong. You'll move on, with fond memories to remember them by.

I rememeber when I lost a few of my pets. I loved them so much </3. I still miss them. They are in a better place now. It's sad that they are gone, but they will always be with you in your heart and in your memory. <3
My sister however, she doesn't get affected by the death of pets. When my cat died, she said good! I'm glad he's dead!!! and laughed about it talking about how much she hated him. I was WTF??!!?!?! And of course a bloody mess over my kitty. <3

Oh my goodness, you have no idea. She likes torturing living creatures. It makes her smile, and makes me sick. At age 2 she took a fish out of a fish tank squeezed it's guts and blood out smiled, laughed and said look fishies dead. I'm like and your happy about that?! She's an odd ball, but I love her. <3

:eek: I just have to say...when I was in Elementary school somebody crushed an ant and I cried. I LOVEE animals. Now..i'm sort of...grossed out. xD Poor, poor fishy. :I Once I kicked a guy in the "no man's land" cuz they were gonna kill a caterpillar. :D
