The matrix series is a good choice. I also recamend inception. It took me three times of watching it just to figure it out.

127 hours is not horror, just thought I'd point that out.

I'd also reccomend Donnie Darko, as well as The White Ribbon and It's a beautiful life.

That was such an amazing movie, i mean i love Jim Carrey's comedy stuff but this was brilliant.

As for recommendations maybe London or Equilibrium. I feel like we're missing a really good one but i can't figure what it is, ah well..

Apatow comedies are great (knocked up, superbad,etc) theyre laugh out loud funny and very sweet aswell. Wristcutters is pretty awesome too

The movies above dont make you think. If you want a really strange movie that will make you think about something more than youve ever thought about almost anything, the french film "Last Year at Marienbad" is a real puzzle
