I guess the police aren't actually trained to deal with abuse... in the more sensative light. They're trained to make arrests, and if they have no evidence to make an arrest they can't. Maybe you should try going to a teacher or someone at school? Or social services? They may be of more help.

It annoys me how police can be such dumbasses (excuse my french) but they never take edvidence that is right in front of them and USE IT!!! We would be better off being protected by a mob of honey badgers (if you get my joke).
