Hi there,
i am 16 years old - and i was drinking last night - and for some reason decided to shave my pubes?:confused:
Anyway - now i have a painful rash?
any suggestions on what this could be or why?

I never used shaving foam :P

Well it could be that, but the thing with shaving pubes is it itches like hell! (So I've heard)

You might wanna put lotion on it, and not scratch at it since the rash might be from that scratching. Just go easy on that area, and the rash should go away!

uh, idont know if saying only god can help you, because there is a thing called AA and i dont think god actually runs those classes.

anyways, you'll be fine, just put some lotion or de-itching powder(gold bond mabey) and you should be all set.

If they are red bumps, like, no just red irritated skin(aka a rash) then they are ingrown hairs.. When you shave the sensitive pubic area skin, the razor is rough on it and it ends up damaging the skin slightly.. So, it begins healing itself..... But, the hairs take longer to heal than the skin, so the skin is already covered over when the hair begins to sprout.. So, this makes a bump where the hair is pushing up the skin. A red bump.

Cure for this? Well, the hairs will grow through the skin in a couple of days...

It could just be ingrown hairs... but otherwise some kind of rash that is causing the skin to become irratable.

Omg(speaking from experience) it itches sooooooo bad. that was the first and last time i did. i dunno why i did it i was pretty stupid for doing that.
