what is a ct scan

It's just a scan so they can find something that caused fainting or things like that.

Your put into a machine that takes pictures at different frequencies so that doctors and such can see inside the body to look for abnormalties.

k.. ct scan is where they look your body. It is like x-ray but only they check your mucles and stuff more. It is almost like MRI, but it is smaller. In MRI your while body goes in to this tube to get your x-ray taken. but in ct-scan there is a pacific place they look at. If it is your stomach, they will usually give you a juice before your ct-scan so they can see a lot of stuff.

You have to stay completely still inside of the 'tube'. It canbe scary if you are clostrophobic.
