Biggest piece of shit ever. I curse whoever's fucking stupid idea it was to have it play such a huge part in our A-level English literature/language course.

Why was it a piece of shit? I thought it was a pretty good book. I think I saw like 5 minutes of the movie, but I'm not going to say it's a horrible book. The plot is kind of predicable though.

it's full of symbolism and it is a timeless piece of literature. anybody who has ever suffered in anyway can relate to the characters
