Confusing feelings

I'm so confused... I know I'm straight. because I have an emotional attraction to guys (and sometimes physical) but once in a while, I get the same feeling for someone of my own gender..... I know I'm straight though. Just wondering, am I just curious or something?

I've been in your exact position before.. I had an emotional 'crush'/attachment to one of my friends for over a year (i was in grade 9) and it got me so confused about whether or not I was bi or straight. It's annoying not knowing yourself and your emotions, but things become clearer with time.

I think there are shades of being straight or gay. In my opinion, if you are straight, don't sweat it if you become attracted to the same sex. I think that labels are less important than people. For me, I am attracted to women most often, but sometimes there are exceptions. I like to concentrate on what about the other person causes me to be attracted to them regardless of gender. This is true with friends and those people that I find sexually attractive.
