So....

Recently, I was trying to open some documents with OpenOffice. I double-click the file, and I get a document-recovery window - but no documents to recover. OpenOffice had not exited abnormally the previous time.

Running it from the command line outputs:
/usr/share/themes/Darklooks/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:181: Invalid symbolic color 'tooltip_bg_color'
/usr/share/themes/Darklooks/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:181: error: invalid identifier `tooltip_bg_color', expected valid identifier

...and then it works.

Why won't it work when I go into Applications > Office > OpenOffice? Or when I double-click a document?

If it helps, I am using version 3.2.1 , OOO320m19 (Build:9505) on OpenSuSE 11.3.

Thanks in advance.

Seeing as a /very/ small percentage of users here even use Open Office (And I doubt any one here, besides you, uses openSUSE), I'd recommend posting your issue either on the OpenOffice Forums: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/ or the openSUSE Forums: http://forums.opensuse.org/.
You're just not going to get help here. :p

Well, free programs are bound to be buggy...

My friend is having major OpenOffice issues, and is dying to buy MS Office.

Well I dont think a bunch of people use open office anyway, could it just be full of bugs and glitches? When I have this type of problem I just shutdown and restart

Are you kidding? Almost every Linux user and most Windows users use it!

As for the problem: it seems to have mysteriously stopped...
