I have loads of stretch marks on my hips. I thought his was normal because I had heard people talk about them before, and when I asked my mum what they were she said 'Oh they're just stretch marks'.
I was talking to my friend last night and she was recently at the doctor. The doctor saw she had stretch marks and said 'Stretch marks? That's very strange for a teenage girl...'. She told her that she wanted to talk to her about them and see if there's something wrong with her skin.
A while ago I was sitting with my cousin and she pointed at my skin and said 'What are they!?'.
I dont know what to think. Are they normal? Are they common??

They're completely normal. They're caused by skin stretching from either a) sudden gain in weight, b) sudden height growth. Don't worry about it hun, I've got several myself. You're normal. :)

To me, I think that they are normal. Don't ask how I know, but I can feel it.

they are normal. its just what happens when your skin cant grow faster than the rest of your body.

Alot of girls have them--like Maliza said, they are from sudden gain of weight and a raise in height. Usually they will fade over time if you are concerned about that, or you can use creams to help. :)
