Christian rock wouldn't cheer me up because I'm not Christian and I'm not into alternative rock much. Sorry, but if you want really cheery happy music, Matt & Kim is the way to go.

Also, essential happy music:

Lol I don't think you have to be Christian...for the period that I didn't believe in God, I still listened to it. But, if it isn't your style then it's ok.

Lame attempt of touching lyrics, boring guitar playing, and lack of catchy melody!

Wow! What a way to cheer someone up!

I disagree.

I'm surprised that no girls commented this...it's more of a girlish band.

Well I'm a girl and I think they're overly cheesy. I hate the lyrics since they're so patronising.

I told another lie today,
And I got through this day,
No one saw through my games.
I know the right words to say,
Like "I don't feel well", "I ate before I came".
Then someone tells me how good I look,
And for a moment, for a moment I am happy,
But when I'm alone, no one hears me cry.

Oh how emotional. FFS that is the most ridiculous song about eating disorders I've ever heard. I think it's pretty embarrassing.

I hate how people assume that if you self-harm, have an eating disorder, have a mental illness, have been abused or whatever that listening to Superchick will make everything better. Superchick make me cringe more than they would "make me feel better about myself".

Ok, how about something more cheerful? This made by a Pakistani compiler/composer(?).

I second Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

The song Hero was the only one that hit me by them. But I can't bear to listen to them because of the lyrics, like it has been said. And I'm really not into that kind of music any more.

I didn't listen to any of their Christian stuff though. Now that I know that's the kind of band they were, double no.

Peace God
