how do i get help

what do you actually go about to get help if you think youve got schizophrenia, and is it possible to get help without parents or anyone like that finding out? please help me find out

To get treatment, you need to go to a doctor. They will diagnose you and treat you with medication. It would be very hard hiding all of this from your parents, mainly because seeing a doctor you'll be using their insurance and if you don't have a job you'll need them to buy medication. You shouldn't try to hide anything from them because it won't help solve the problem. If you really want to get better, you'll tell them.

Doctor's are the go. They can tell you if you have it, and then they can give you the proper medication. I believe that your parents will need to find out.. because if you dont tell them, and then one day they catch u taking medicine they didnt know you took... it will be harder to explain things to them then.

You need to see a mental doctor to find out if you really have it.

I'm schizoi and I can tell you that the meds really work. You can live a near normal life with the right treatment.

Your parents have to know about any medication you take so if you experience side effects or something goes wrong or you are in an accident and need to go to hospital then they know how much of what you have taken.
