Apologies if this post has already been posted.
I Recently just got into liking literature. Especially Dickens. But my favorite line is still from Shakespeare.

"O romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou romeo,
Deny thy father and refuse thy name
Or if thou wilt now, be but sworn my love,
and ill no longer be a Capulet" :yes:

Short enough to be considered a "line" so I'll just use a whole poem.

Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

— Robert Frost
