xbox/external hard drive

Yes im a fool
i though pluggin my external harddrive into the back of my xbox would be the same as plugging it into my playstation
aparently not
it wiped my harddrive completly :(!
can anyone help?

Eh?
The Xbox wouldn't have done anything to the hard drive unless you told it to.
You sure it's actually wiped? As in, you've plugged it in to your computer to verify that all your information is gone?

Well my first thought is to try something like this http://www.piriform.com/recuva
and see if you can't recover the lost files. If you haven't done anything with the drive since you might be able to recover some. I have someones drive on my desk now that i need to try the same thing on...*fingers crossed*
