Charlie (CharlieGirl) has just told me whenever she tries to log in shes still getting the server change message. "Virtual Teen forums are down while we move servers" I've had her log out and clear her cookies but shes still having the problem. As im posting this its fairly obvious the servers are not being changed again but is there anything she can do? I remember this happening a while ago last year where some people could get on but others still got the message for a few days after the work that went on. I just can't remember the solution?

It might have taken a longer time for her ISP to update.

Tell her to go to the command prompt and type ipconfig/flushdns

Bump - PrinceofMadness (Cengiz) Is having the same problem. He's also cleared his cookies/cache and done the ipconfig/flushdns thingy

Either two scenarios:

Their ISP has yet to update to find the new server (which is unlikely since its been changed for a quite a few days now.

They have not correctly flushed their dns.

If they have a proxy (even a transparent one that a lot of connections end up using) won't the dns flush not work?

Use OpenDNS. Good shit.
