I've never really been given more than an hour or 2 of homework a night, not counting time spent studying (which I did very very rarely.) A lot of my teachers this year aren't checking homework which is pretty cool, and it's actually a good system.

You're only in 7th? Oh. I had 7 periods in 7th, but one was a mandatory study hall which they called "Activity period" and we were allowed to talk and stuff. I'm pretty sure it was just a simpler way of taking away recess without taking ti away all at once.

Damn you must have short classes. Mine are all 45 minutes, except one which is an hour.

Ugh, no. Unfortunately 2 of the classes I signed up for are only taught one period a day, and they happen to be 1st and last period, so my study hall is in the middle of the day. :(

yes they variy between 15 to 20 mins, and can sometimes last 30 mins. also your not allowed to talk in study hall here, you have to have papaerwork to do.
