Adblock doesn't seem to be working. I have it installed, but ads still appear. Happened right after a bunch of page and extension crashes. I reinstalled it but that didn't help.
Yes, I use Chrome, and no I will not be switching to Firefox. I don't like Firefox...
anyways, can anyone explain what's wrong with Chrome lately? anyone else have a lot of page crashing?

Scan your computer with an antivirus such as malware bytes its likely you've got adware or something like that.

adblock works now. >_> so now I just want to know if anyone has been getting crashes lately. for pages and stuff...Chrome has too many updates and the last couple seems to be causing them. or maybe it's just my computer..

I haven't had any really, it might just be your computer.

Flash Player crashed for me last night, but that was out of the ordinary. For the most part Chrome is fine. How did you fix it, Jess?

Have you tried uninstalling the whole browser, and reinstalling it.

no. I don't want to go through the trouble of all that...and also, Kaius, have you done all those updates for Chrome ? :/

Its a very small file size, it might solve it :) worth a shot despite you not wanting to do it :P
Or
I haven't used Chrome in a while so not sure if this still applies, are you using a BETA version? If so it might just be unstable with most pages.

Perhaps drop back to a stable version, like one that isn't Beta.

Then I would switch back to Chrome 9 since 10 is still in beta if that's what seems to be the problem.
I'm using the beta but it's not as bad as you describe it.

I've been in beta for several months. It's only the last two updates that made it all bad...:/

Used to be a Chrome fanatic, then switched to IE 9, and I love it.
