Hi, this is my first post, so I wasn't sure what forum it should go in. (Figured it was hormones, so... Here goes.) I like a girl, and not just because of the whole "Omg she's so hot" and all that crap. I actually like her for her. :wub: I've known her for about 1.5 years now, but we aren't like best friends or anything. She's about 6-7 inches taller than me. :( (Though I have gone from about half an inch shorter than one of my friends to about an inch taller in about 3 weeks.) I told her over the '10 summer that I liked her, but I don't know if she knows that I still like her. I'm sure this is normal, but I'm afraid to tell her, and most of my friends know that I like her, but not many of them know her very well. What should I do? :confused: Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Start to talk with her and become great friends then once you feel confident, Just tell her straight up u like her

Yeah, just find a good opportunity when shes alone or not near many people and tell her. Also, just as a cautionary warning, remember that while dating at your age (whatever it is, if you're 17 or under) has its advantages, every relationship will fall. Most fall sooner than later, but just be prepared.

that isnt always true. my parents were high school sweethearts and they have been married for 19 years.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that I screwed telling her then up because I texted her it... Took her about 2 weeks to finally say "I don't know what to say" And I mean REALLY screwed it up in my opinion.

Like another person said above: get to know her and befriend her. Since you barley know her, it would be very akward if you just went up to her and asked her out.

Actually, I know where she lives, (Invited me to a party there) I know her dad, and a bunch of other stuff. It's my friends that don't know her too well.

it really doesnt matter a whole lot if your friends know her or not. you have to know her well enough to ask her out. there fore you need to be friends with her and get close to her.

Start talkin to her more, thats what I did now this girl likes me and I kinda feel the same way but theres some thing blocking it, but anyway talk to her, and let her talk and you actualy listen, girls love it when a guy actualy listens, other than that just try and see her some more in the hallways and just say hey. Also, if your texting her one day just say "Hey Beautiful" if she responds in a wierd way its because she wasnt expecting it but dont worry bout it bud. Good luck
