I made a thread in the photography section and posted a bunch of pictures, so I went to go back to it today and post more but it wasn't there. I went to my userpage to go under 'statistics' and then 'threads', but it wasn't under there either.. Where did it go? :?

This must be impossible, but here are a few solutins:
1) Read the other thread in the same section you just posted in.
or
2) They switched servers yesterday, and everything from the past 5 days was deleted, as though it never happened.

The announcement WAS in the announcements section for at least 24 hours prior to the time Ant said he would be doing the switch.

if something like this happens again, there should be someway to show the announcement about a server move or whatever on the index page, to catch most people's attention.

Yea well you should read other threads about disapearing threads
or read the announcements as soon as they are posted so you wouldve read it before the server swap

Anything posted in the announcements section should be something you keep a watch on because anytime there is something posted in that section, it's usually important and to do with the site. So always pay attention, don't always use "New Posts" as there are a lot of threads made everyday and the newer threads would be bumped over the announcement. Announcement Section (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=133) So for next time, please make sure you pay attention to that area.
