You tell her she's going to die
Old and alone
She's scared because
She doesn't want to be on her own
You tell her she's fat
She jokes around and smiles
When she goes home
She finds her self siting next to the toilet
Looking at the bathroom tiles
You tell her she's ugly
She kicks you and jokes
When she's all alone
She cries and croaks
She cries and cries
Until there's nothing left in her
She asks herself
' Is this going to last forever?'
She tells you a secret
Her brothers were never born
They're dead
'Why couldn't that have been you?'
Is the joke you said
She knows you don't mean harm
Any of you
It's just all those words
Make her blue
She cries and cries
Until there's nothing left in her
She asks herself
' Is this going to last forever?'
She's not too innocent herself
She's feels bad though
About all the hurtful things she's said
But she's not sure about any of you
So she slices the pain away
Slicing her memories
Slicing the tears
Trying so hard
to slice away her fears
She cries and cries
Until there's nothing left in her
She asks herself
' Is this going to last forever?'
She looks in the mirror
You know what she sees?
Something so ugly
It's her self, she believes
Once so confident
Now broken
Her pain, her grief
Is something not spoken
For she hides it well
Behind her mask
Smiling and laughing
So no one can ask
So she lives on
Pretending that she's fine
All of her fears, and worries
Are all mine
You tell her she's going to die
