So, this week I just keep pulling and pulling and pulling. It's not even consciously done. I keep pulling out my freakin eyelashes, and it's noticeable. I feel ugly. I mean it's not that noticeable I guess, but I feel so self coinsious. I just want to stop, but I don't even realize I'm pulling until I see them on my hands. I just don't know what to do! How can I freakin stop if I don't even notice I'm doing it. Please help meh!

Ah, it's okay. What your doing is something a lot of people do. I have a cousin who started pulling her hair out at a very young age. She wore a wig for years but is recovering from it now. I pull out my eyebrows sometimes, the same as how I scratch my head to a point that it bleeds profusely. But you will never be ugly. (:
You're doing it from stress, just like cutting, head scratching, and so on. Try looking at yourself in the mirror and consciously tell yourself that you do NOT want to be looking in that mirror one day to see your pretty eyes gone bald like an aging old mans head. Keep your hands busy. When you're in class and unable to focus on whats going on start writing something. Draw a picture, write a poem or story (and post it here! We'll read :) ), or actually do the work :P Just do something to make sure you're always working with your hands. I read somewhere about putting stuff on them to make them hard to grab. I recommend NOT wearing mascara (Because I pull mine out when I'm wearing it) because you will feel the need to grab them even more if you notice they are there.
You just have to work at it. It's a nasty habit to try and fight, like biting your nails (and everything else I named).

Lexi thank you I think I'm going to try to keep my hands busy. You made me think of something, the past two days I've been wearing mascara, and I haven't pulled as much in the past, because I usually don't wear it. I'm definately going to stay away from it, or at least try and remember to. I pull my eyebrows out too, but just the parts that you can pull out and it's okay. Like normal plucking. I'm not too worried about my arm hair pulling, and I rarely do it, it's just these darn eyelashes that's going to skrew me in the end. Thank you for your help. <3
Heather thank you for responding also. Unfortunately I'm having a terrible time coping. I missed my dose of anxiety meds last night. >.< So things are going to go down hill a bit from here. I just had to tell my psycologist about my sexual abuse so it's finally coming to me that it did indeed happen, and I'm not liking it. To be honest I wish I kept it from her and kept denying it, and just left it as something my mind made up. Instead of facing the awful reality. I knew I"d have to face it one day, I just didn't think it would be this bad I guess. Because now I"m dealing with the emotions I supressed for years. My alter is trying to help, doing an awful job I must say, but she can't really do anyhting in the end.
Man are you seirous? They don't grow back. :( That makes me depressed. <3

I have the same problem, exept I'm a boy :P Ive been pulling my eyelashes out for maybe, 2 years now, so I guess it's a little bit more serious for me, but first I want to say, they do grow back, it just takes a ton of willpower, idk how long you've been doing it, but the shorter amount of time, the easier to stop.
There are some things to help, like finding something to keep your hands busy, or something to relieve stress. Those are the top 2 reasons I pull, because i get stessed and bored. This is definitely NOT the way to relieve stress, but there are tons of different ways, you just need to find another way.
Another big thing that can help, is realizing when you pull, where, and hopefully why, if you know this info, it will help you find out ways to prevent it.
If you have anymore questions or need help, pm me, cause I'm going through it too, and for very long, hopefully, some things that didn't work for me can work for you. :D

I don't really know what to say, but I'm here if you ever feel like talking! <3
They don't grow back. :( That makes me depressed.
Don't worry, they do grow back! Eyelashes can fall off in a million ways, if they didn't grow back, probably everyone would be "eye-bald" at our age..
