I think its about how life will interrupt our thoughts which is a huge part of our personal lives. Many times we look at other peoples lives and see them as more happening than our own. Then we turn around and look down on somebody's life. We do this a lot and we do it silently while thinking. When we do this too much we kind of remove ourselves from living in the moment. In this song I picture a dude walking down the street and taking in all of whats going on around him and processing it. Other peoples lives make us think about our own and what we're doing or not doing. Thinking a lot and saying little.
Whew. That's just my opinion ya know? I mean you take what I just said and nickel and a dime and you still only have 15 cents. :)
