Alright. So, over the span of 1 to 1 and a half months, I've been back on the school bus after quite a time away from it. I was told to sit up by the 7th graders. So within that span of 1 to 1 and a half months, I've been hearing spanned out comments of a couple of the seventh graders using the word "gay" or "homo" deliberately to describe someone or something. When it is describing something, it's hurting me, because I'm the one getting hurt and receiving emotional distress. When they are directing it towards someone else, it somewhat hurts me and the person it's directed at. It partially hurts me because I know it might happen to me... plus, I'm listening to it.
~*Note*~
The bus driver is old, but the seventh graders are near the front, just enough for him to hear what they are saying. He has pretty good hearing too because someone in the back of the bus can speak at the top of their lungs to ask him to turn the lights on. Even maybe not at the top of their lungs, but near the top, he would probably be able to hear it.
-------------------------
So, is this worth bringing up to the attention of the Principal and maybe even the Superintendent?
